This app is a precision overlay cursor for macOS — built to make alignment, measuring, and “pixel-perfect” work easier while you’re in other apps.
Launch this app. If you’re unlicensed, you’ll be prompted to register and activate a key. Once licensed, the overlay features become available.
Tip: Keep your license key somewhere safe (email + notes). You can re-enter it later from the License menu.
Registration is email-based. You’ll receive a license key, then paste it into the in-app License window and click Activate.
Go to Registration →This app draws a full-screen crosshair overlay (CAD style) above other apps, precisely following the cursor. If you don’t see the crosshairs, check macOS permissions (Accessibility and Screen Recording).
The primary feature is the full-screen crosshair system. In addition, this app can record mouse activity locally — down, up, drag, and double-click events. We call this PawPrints. The Dock icon is badged with a count for each mouse-down event.
CrossHairs and PawPrints are fully customizable — line width, color, opacity, and optional shadowing. PawPrints appear as:
You can disable PawPrints entirely, restrict them to the Desktop, or allow them to float above other apps.
A complete log of every event can be saved for each app session. Logging is a sticky preference — if you leave logging off in the Preferences window when the app quits, logging must be enabled before it begins. Logs can be exported as a text file.
NO DATA IS EVER SENT OFF YOUR MACHINE. Your privacy and security are paramount. You remain in complete control.
Live Info can also be displayed — floating or at normal window level. Live info is always off when this app launches. The live info bar shows pixel color, mouse position, and a color definition formatted as you choose. The pixel sample can be fixed or follow the cursor and can be zoomed. The info bar is draggable, so you can position it anywhere on screen and keep it out of your way.
License window won’t accept key: verify the key is complete (all groups) and pasted cleanly.
Overlay not visible: confirm the app is running, and verify any required macOS permissions.
Something feels “stuck”: quit and relaunch, then re-check permissions.
